7 YEARS LATER Seven years with this flat cap and it looks brand new…These caps are no joke…High quality and built to last…I’ve just finished examining it, and there are no tears or loose stitching…That should tell you something…I wear it year round through rain, sleet, snow, baking sun, hail, but I have yet to test it in a tornado…This hat rides nice and low unlike my other flat caps, so it can withstand more wind as well as being more comfortable…I own a Jonathan…

May Be the Last Cap I Buy…But it Wasn’t Wait, hold on, I did buy another, blue. It’s lighter weight but just as good a cap…and then I bought another, brown, so I have wardrobe choices. I haven’t worn any other hat, since. I love the Hanly design, and I just love the feel of Donegal wool. These hats fit perfectly. And I’ll buy yet another if I find a color I like. Highly recommended….Unless I buy another from this same manufacturer. This is everything one might want in a quality product. It is Donegal tweed, handmade…

It fits perfectly on my giant dome (something that even fitted baseball caps rarely did) and it looks great. After years of wearing baseball caps, I wanted to try something a little different and decided to go with a flat cap. After browsing through Amazon looking for the “right” flat hat, I spied the John Hanly tweed flat cap. It fits perfectly on my giant dome (something that even fitted baseball caps rarely did) and it looks great.
