Confortable, and warm. I bought my mask for the upcoming Winter season. The price seemed right, and the mask looked nice as well. My first impression, the mask looked kind of skinny, so I decided to try it on. I was surprised to feel it was actually comfortable to wear, but most importantly, it seems to keep you warm. I’m waiting for the full-on Winter season to roll around, and I’ll see if it will keep me warm during the colder days to come. But for the price, I can not complain too much. my main thing was to make sure I could breathe with the mask on when I ride my bike; it does, and of course to keep me warm. I bought maks before, which I couldn’t use for too long, because I could breathe with them on, with the CoolChange mask, that doesn’t seem to be a problem.

Not bulky Bought this to use for skiing and just general outdoor activities, but after I got it, I noticed it was very thin. Normally I think of fleece being thick, so I thought I would try it on my motorcycle. Others I’ve tried were too thick making the helmet too tight. This one being thin it might fit under my helmet….and it did!. Took a 5 day trip and threw it in my bag not thinking I would need it but I woke up one morning to 28 degrees so I threw it on. Worked like a charm, warm enough and not bulky. And since my mouth is covered it even helped with fogging of the face shield. This will be a permanent accessory on my bike from now on.

Just in time for winter cycling/hiking I primarily use balaclava’s for cycling or hiking and my last one was all fleece and quickly fell apart due to the amount of use. This balaclava feels much more durable, better, waterproof material. Also, I felt like I was able to breathe easier with this one vs my previous purchase. I plan to get another so I can have one in the wash while I use the other. While it ticks all my boxes for warmth, windproofing, waterproofing, durable materials, and compresses down nicely for ultra light hiking, I feel the sizing of the top piece might be slightly off. It feels like it doesn’t come completely down on my forehead but that just may be because I have a big forehead. I put it on my SO, who’s smaller overall, and it seemed to do the same so I’m not sure what we’re doing wrong, but it fits her, which is the important part. Having a loose balaclava is maddening. This one is a bit stretchy but it doesn’t feel like it’s going to become so worn out that it’s going to lose it’s…
