Another fine Carhartt product! working on a solar project out in the extreme weather, on top of a 22 acre warehouse roof is brutal! But with all my new Carhartt gear I can survive!with the purchase of this helmet liner I can now handle the wind chills of -20! I certainly recommend this if you need to stay warm too! stops the cold wind I have to wear a hard hat when in the field and this allows me to do that comfortably. It was 23 degrees, windy and this kept me nice and warm. I was actually sweating. I like that you can cover your face or just roll it down around your neck. I would recommend this to any one who works outside in the winter.

Surprisingly indispensable! When I first got this thing, I compared it to my neoprene facemask I use for biking. I didn’t think it would be very useful. It doesn’t break the wind very well. And it’s not thick and warm like a polar fleece. But, if you are at all active, it’s the perfect tool for the chill out of the air. I wear it in my unheated garage all the time.
