Elegant, stiff but light hat Fit – The Large fits my 23″ head well. Not too tight, but secure. Feels light on the head, hardly know it’s there. The brim size is wide enough for sun and rain protection.Construction – Although very light, the hat is well built with a sweat band and lining inside. Surprisingly stiff pre-formed brim with fabric sewn to a hidden plastic sheet. I doubt the brim can be easily molded or changed. But that’s OK since it’s a good look already. The material and workmanship are above standard. And then I unpacked it . . . It was shipped in a box that was too small for the hat so it had to be crushed to fit.
