He talks about the American Dream because that’s all the average American can relate to. Seriously, if Americans really took the time to research the issues, they’d see that Obama is no Messiah. But they don’t. They buy into his BS because that’s about all they can process. Sorry to say it, but the average American is pretty impatient and fairly ignorant.

A progressive tax system IS income redistribution.

What the hell do you call tax cuts for the rich?

Oh wait, I get it. If you give money back to the wealthiest 5% it’s Capitalism, but if you cut taxes for the REST of us, it’s Socialism.

Do you have any idea how ridiculous your argument is? Neither candidate favors a flat tax, hence both are in favor of income redistribution. The only question is, who gets it.

Do you make more than $250k or less?

And ask yourself; which candidate actually LIVED the American dream. The one born into wealth, cheated on his sick wife and spent 26 yrs. receiving free health care or the one raised in poverty by a single mother, graduated college and law school and worked with the poorest among us prior to seeking public office.
