What is the best way to get loans without a cosigner for a private college?
Hopefully some one from schools like Syracuse, Boston U, etc… who have gotten loans can give me some advice as to how I can get this taken care of.
I cannot cosign with my parents, they don't want me to go to private school. Is there some reasonable alternatives to get a loan?

Having a cosigner may lower your interest rate, unless your parent/guardian has bad credit. If you are an independent student, try to get a PLUS loan.
It's definitely going to be harder without a cosigner, but what's your own credit history like? You may be able to pull it off if you have good credit. The company I represent, http://www.tuitionbids.com, lets you apply for a loan with 6 accredited lenders at the same time. Because the banks are competing for your business, you're more likely to get approved for a loan. I'm not saying it's a guarantee, but it may save you some time because you're applying to 6 banks at once. Just another resource to think about. Good luck!
