What are the signs of catching the swine flu going around?
I am really freaked out that it’s going to come to Washington. Someone threw up the other day, and everyone is coughing like nuts, it’s really freaking me out, I don’t like going to school because this guy keeps coughing on me on purpose and I am really scared as helllll from catching the swine flu.
What are the symptons that let you know if you have it?

I know what you mean. I lived one block away from the school they closed down in New York City. Just don’t fret and do not let it get into your mind. The symptoms for swine flu are very similar to the common influenza virus. They include but are not limited to.
•fever
•cough
•sore throat
•body aches
•headache
•chills
•fatigue
Also diarrhea and vomitting has been noted as a symptom but predominately in children as a rule of thumb. But in any case all these symptoms should be noted and raise concern!
A visit to the doctor could only confirm that you are truly infected with this particular flu strain.

The symptoms are sudden and the fever is high. A lot of people at this time of year have allergies due to pollen and some of them, including me, in the Midwest can go into coughs from a combination of allergies and colds and maybe bronchitis. Just because somebody has a cough does not mean they have the flu, but be careful if you are around anybody who seems not only to be coughing but to be very sick over all. If a guy is ‘coughing on you’ on purpose, and knows it bothers you, he is probably not very sick. If he had the flu he would probably not be in too much of a mood for practical jokes or whatever you want to call that kind of gross behavior.
Anybody who has a cough right now should be careful in public. Maybe if my allergies act up I should wear a sign, "Allergy, not flu" or something.
Do you mean Washington State or Washington, DC? I don’t think there are cases in either place, the closest to Washington state is southern California and the closest to Washington DC are those kids in NYC.
I am pretty sure the signs are those of the regular influenza signs. coughing, sneezing, fevor, So if you get sick or think you are coming down with something avoid human contact. That’s a good way to stop it from spreading,.
