I would like to see the verdict of the war crimes commission and his sentence for his war crime. Also Tony Blair is entailed to earn money, you could probably associate every company in the UK with the Iraq war, 1 way or another.

Plus Saddam really was a bad leader, he defied UN resolutions many many times, he tortured and killed his own people and tested chemical weapons on them. I agree the reasons given were not the right ones for invading Iraq, but Saddam did need to be disposed.
Legally, Tony Blair is not a war criminal. A war crimes tribunal does not look at the reasons for going to war, it looks at the conduct those involved in it.

Of course it's outrageous that he should earn this sort of money. However, it may not happen if the US and the UK go into recession. I read recently that JP Morgan has problems over the US sub prime mortgage crisis so Blairs employment with them may not be as assured as we may think.
The assumption of the publishers that people will rush to buy this man's memoirs are too optimistic. I wonder how many people on Current Events would buy them. I suppose the Americans might buy them but his popularity is likely to have slid along with Bush's.

Everyone who was involved in the decision making about Iraq has stated that bad intelligence caused the problems. Until anyone in America or England can prove otherwise, that;'s the way it will stand forever.
You can not charge someone with a war crime until you can absolutely prove intent. Show all of us the "intent" to commit crimes against Iraq & its people, and we will support you.
Look, I too feel that someone needs to be held accountable for this blunder. All we can do now is try to help the Iraqis caught in the middle of the civil war between the sunnis & shiites.

As for the cash issue – well he was going to earn massive piles of cash anyway (IN ADDITION TO HIS PENSION OF £80,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE) book deals, advisory roles, personal appearances – but you are right it does make you sick…….Especally when The police are not getting AN AGREED PAY DEAL THAT WAS MADE A WHILE AGO.
