Is there a risk of domestic animals contracting the swine flu?
I’m pretty well educated on it, but I haven’t heard anything on animals, besides pigs. Is there a risk of domestic animals, like dogs, catching the swine flu? And since there’s some avian influenza bacteria mixed in with swine influenza, are birds at risk as well?

Probably. But they really don’t know yet.

now, if it’s a pig, I’d be worried, but a dog I would not worry at all
and the birds, I wouldn’t be all to worried about either. I don’t know if the dna structure of this virus can affect pets
