Gordon Brown axed money to our forces at their hour of greatest need, why?
Gordon Brown axed money full stop to the armed forces as they invaded Iraq, leaving our troops vulnerable due to equipment shortages, the rest is tragic history.
How much more incompetence can this man show before he is ousted?

It seems to have been a way of getting at Blair. It does explain why they don’t have the necessary numbers of helicopters in Afghanistan now and are paying a heavy blood price for it.
He needed to be able to pay for all the immigrants coming in who will be voting Liebour – the irony is that half of them probably support the taliban!
This is one of the main reasons he has to go – that Labour have to go and they need to call an election! When the bumbling fool turns up at the Chilcot enquiry , he will shoot himself in the foot and cause the biggest exodus from Liebour that we’ve ever seen! Mr Bean is nothing without Mandelson and Campbell behind him ,telling him what to say!
Gordon Brown heads the labour party ,they do not need to give us a reason for doing the things they do They do not govern for the voters . They govern for themselves, like they made their own rules to draw public money for their Expences. See where that took them . They have now raised
V A T Value added Tax to M A T Ministers added Tax..
he needed the money to pay the benefits bill. he would rather send our soldiers to their deaths than let an illegal immigrant go without.
‘auriflam’ what happened in WW 2 has no relevance to the shortages our troops had and still have because of Brown. The Labour Party have never truly supported our troops even in the thirties they opposed Britain rearming. ‘auriflam’ if you want to refer to history look at the bigger picture.
Because he is a bean-counter.
The man is a f*cking traitor, as is Blaire and the whole new labour nightmare. Destroying this country has been new labours secret manifesto since the foul day the were elected. They are a bi product of EU tyranny and dictatorship. It beats me why they weren’t dragged from power five years ago?….I guess the British people have just lost all hope. Even now, and after Parliament has all but destroyed Britain, the people can still only bring themselves to talk in terms of the two main tired old destructive political dinosaurs. LAB and CON…..Its like the people are drugged or something???????????? Quite scary really.
Because he is an idiot.
He has plenty more incompetence to reveal yet, don’t worry.
I think our hour of greatest need was when Nazi’s were carpet bombing, London, Coventry, Birmingham, Madchester, Sheffield, Plymouth et cetera. Not some far flung war which had little effect on civilian life in the UK. Could you provide links to show that Brown stopped ALL monies going to the Armed forces. The MOD budget has never been 0.
I well remember 2003 and the run up to this invasion and running around Army Surplus stores the length and breadth of the UK trying to grab desert equipment for my son and his mates because the MOD was still flogging the stuff off.
My son alone spent over £800 of his own money to go and fight Teflon’s war. Everything from desert cam’s and boots, through a sting remover, to a 5 litre "camel" water carrier as the MOD only supplied a pint water bottle to carry their requirement of 5 litres per man. Body armour was like rocking horse sh!t and worn on timeshare basis dependent on who was in the more dangerous position.
What was really funny was the MOD trying to claim that the equipment these men bought had actually been issued – hence the claim by Teflon that HM Forces were adequately equipped. That’s a well kept secret that most of the British public and even the Chilcott inquiry haven’t heard about.
Flash – the man who imposed 5 cutbacks on HM Forces in the eight years he was Chancellor – 3 of them after the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan.
Teflon – just an out and out liar who uses others for his own personal gain.
the sooner New Labour are kicked into political oblivion, never to see the light of day again, the better.
