so i have a question. I was invade to a lunch for helping obama on Saturday the email says this
"This is a casual get together for all the people who helped out at Democratic Obama tables around Northern Virginia to raise visibility, register voters, sign up new volunteers, talk to swing voters and distribute campaign gear and literature to help elect Barack Obama in 2008. We will meet each other, share stories and lessons learned and congratulate each other on a job well done". does anyone know if i will need to pay for my own lunch or will it be free

Most of the time the volunteers are being rewarded for all of their efforts.
I like to think that it is free. I would prepare myself however, just in case you would have to pay.
I would be VERY disappointed, if that was the case.

Ok I am a Republican but in defensive of Obama and this lady asking the question stop with the political slanders! She had her reason for voting for him, so don’t harass the poor lady!
In the past I have attended similar events and yes they are free because you dedicated your time for the campaign! Its like a reward for all the hard work you did!
