Already had swine flu, used tamiflu, do I need the vaccine?
I had swine flu a while back and used tamiflu to reduce my symptoms. My mom’s doctor says I still need the vaccine b/c kids that used tamiflu didn’t get a good enough case to develop an immunity. Has anyone heard about tamiflu reducing immunity? Thanks

If you’re doctor is suggesting you still need the vaccine, I would get it.
The biggest risk is that the vaccine will change over time and become more dangerous – it’s just not worth the risk.
If you had swine flu in the past, you won’t get it again, your body has built a strong enough immune response to repel the disease the second time without feeling any of its symptoms. You’ll be fine without the vaccine.
I suggest you do anything it takes to protect yourself.
i don think so but i would
if u have had it this season, u dont need a vaccine. next season is a different case tho because the virus could mutate.
